Southern by birth; Texan by the grace of God – Texas is my adopted home and I love it! There is no where I would rather be, however I am equally proud of my Southern roots. Ask anyone, I will fit my heritage into conversations as often as socially acceptable. I am also a friend of God. My relationship with Jesus is of utmost importance to me. Without Him there is no reason for my existence. Ah, and then there is my family. They bring out both the best and the worst in me and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Parenting three teenagers is blissfully irritating. Having been strict in the early years has paved the way for a much easier transition during these sometimes frustrating growing years. How could I manage all of this without the support of my #1 man? To quote Renee Zwellweger, “he completes me”. He is able when I am not; completely reliable & supportive of my endeavors whatever they may be. Writing – I have an opinion on most everything and writing is a way to share, connect to people, strike a chord, incite riot. Just like Toby Keith, “I am a woman of my convictions, call me wrong, call me right. . .you may not like where I’m going but you sure know where I stand. Hate me if you want to, love me if you can.”
