Meet Nolan Price, a stable hand who discovers his employer is actually his father, a man of nobility. Nolan is a likable, hard-working young man with a deep loyalty to the aunt who raised him. His sole desire is to bring honor to her.
Susan Anne Mason’s, A Most Noble Heir is a story I did not want to put down. Nolan’s relationship with kitchen maid Hannah Burnham is a story within the story. Readers will appreciate the struggles Nolan faces as he endeavors to develop a relationship with his difficult, narrow-minded father while remaining true to himself and the people he cares for most.
As the story begins Nolan’s faith is a bit unstable, but as he navigates each obstacle, he realizes his chances for success greatly increase when he follows the subtle guidance provided by his heavenly father.
A Most Noble Heir also provides a bit of unexpected mystery and intrigue; a delightful read.
