The first few chapters are a bit bumpy as readers are introduced to a long list of characters without a clear understanding of how they all fit into the story. Don’t give up, though; the picture becomes much clearer as the story unfolds.
Intuitive readers will find themselves questioning the character of both Theresa’s current and former fiancées, Edward Greystone and Broderick Cosgrove. Which man truly has her best interests at heart?
Caudill’s debut novel does not disappoint!
