A Cross to Kill

What happens when a CIA assassin finds Jesus and decides that what he once thought was right and justifiable is suddenly just so very wrong; meet John Cross former CIA operative turned small country church pastor.

Readers struggling with their own demons of repentance, forgiveness, restitution, and reconciliation will likely relate to the uber skilled, but the quite humble, and very likable character of John Cross.

Andrew Huff’s development of several church member characters adds to the story’s authenticity.  On a side note, it was refreshing to review a male-authored book as so many contemporary Christian novels seem to be authored by women.  One caveat, the very descriptive action scenes are no doubt masculine and for this female reviewer, a bit overwhelming and sometimes confusing.

True to form for a spy novel, there are many plot twists and turns with a very unpredictable ending.  Definitely a worthwhile read.
