Christmas Revelation by Anne Perry was painfully boring. I really wanted to like it, but there simply wasn’t anything likable. The point of the story lies buried beneath multiple layers and oddball characters. Readers are unceremoniously dumped into a wild goose chase, without any groundwork. Convinced I’d missed something important, I reread the first few pages several times hoping to find a connection.
