The Indebted Earl

The Indebted Earl, third in Erica Vetsch’s Serendipity & Secrets series, is yet another pure and heartfelt inspirational novel.

Although the entire series is worth reading, anyone beginning The Indebted Earl without first reading the other two books will not find themselves lost within the plot.  Each of the books while sharing some characters, may still be considered stand-alone reads.

Vetsch has a propensity for creating real and relatable characters; those individuals who while flawed, are honest, caring, ethical, sensitive, and kind.  Her gifting draws readers right into the story and keeps them turning the pages until the end. The Indebted Earl is no exception.

Set in 1800’s England, the richness of the characters rounds out an interesting tale of duty, romance, mystery, and adventure.  Many readers will find themselves relating to awkward, duty-bound Navy captain Charles Wyvern, adoringly sweet and loyal Lady Sophie Haverly, while appreciating solid, dedicated Mrs. Chapman and wanting to hug and protect three unexpected orphans, Penny, Thea, and Betsy.
